Description: This is one of my favorite notes and it possibly the lowest serial known in public hands for the type! First of all, this is an FR#259 and there are only 30 known. There are three Serial numbers lower then this, #5 is in the ANA Museum, #8 is in the Fed Reserve Bank of NY and then there is serial#10 which the census does not show any info for so I dont know if it is in an institution or owned by an individual(if someone knows the where abouts of #10, please let me know). This note has 2 very light bends, I am grading it AU. Also, #24 is a GEM note which brought over $30,000 in a Lyn Knight auction over 3 years ago.
